It started a few years back when I replied to Dougie Hunters Gumtree ad trying to
start a team in Fife.
From those humble beginnings in Culross under the name of the Central Magpies to
where the club finds itself today, it’s been an incredible journey.
In that time I’ve been fortunate enough to represent the Tyne Tees Tigers, Aberdeen
Eagles, Kingdom Kangaroos and Scottish Clansmen and lift the inaugural Tyne Tees cup

the ranks makes me incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.
Every club needs fresh blood and ideas to take them forward and I’m convinced the
guys who were in attendance at the AGM last night have that enthusiasm required to
take the club to the next level and succeed in establishing a sustainable club to
make the Kingdom Of Fife proud.

also to Lisle, Charlie and Flannas for their tireless work putting the sport on the
map in Fife.
Flannas in particular puts in a lot of hours running Kanga Kick and that’s now
beginning to bear fruit as he starts to teach the sport in local high schools.
I’d like to wish CJ all the best in his new role as club President and I look
forward to hearing about the next exciting chapter of the club under his
